Job Description
SSIA Team provides:
Top-to-bottom analysis from the portfolio level down to asset class, sector and security
Timely, accurate, online information on a daily, monthly, quarterly and/or ad-hoc basis
Risk, return and compliance insight with breadth and depth of asset class coverage
Sophisticated analytics, modelling and benchmarking capabilities
Alternative investment expertise across private equity investments, real estate and hedge funds
Flexibility to meet changes in market and regulatory requirements
A single comprehensive data warehouse
Interactive, graphical reporting and querying capabilities through our market-leading Investment Analytics Dashboard
Regular or commissioned research, imparting thought leadership on local and global trends
Risk Analyst will be responsible for pre-processing all data functions to support our risk management services.
Responsibilities:
Pre-process of all holdings data and enriching with Security Master attributes
Perform daily reconciliations on a range of data and analytics
Follow existing, clearly defined procedures, to solve routine problems
Understanding of Value-at-Risk methods, sensitivity measures and Stress Testing techniques
Work co-operatively with other risk groups in different locations and time zones
Provide adequate documentation and backup of all operational processes
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Degree in Finance/Economics or related field
Strong understanding of financial markets
Familiarity with concepts on market risk
Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem solving skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent PC skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
Knowledge of Reuters and Bloomberg will be advantageous
