Sourcing & Vendor Management (SVM) sources external goods and services for Credit Suisse by applying best practices while mitigating key commercial, contractual and reputational risks to the Bank.
ROLE SUMMARY:
The open position is part of SVMs Transactional Sourcing team, which is responsible to:
Lead and execute high volume type commercial sourcing and procurement transactions.
Partner with respective Strategic Sourcing Category colleagues and CS departments to execute transactional sourcing efforts.
ROLE SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for procurement and sourcing activities within the Business Services spend categories (e.g. marketing, travel and entertainment, corporate services) both globally and for local Poland engagements. A key part of the role includes developing and maintaining successful relationships with suppliers, peers and internal business partners on a global basis.
Responsibilities:
Managing purchase order process for all CS locations across the globe within dedicated tool.
Managing sourcing activities, understood as: defining requirements with requestor, nominating potential suppliers, negotiating commercial conditions and contracting/onboarding chosen supplier.
Collaborate with other SVM regions and teams to ensure integrated delivery of sourcing support.
Establish, manage and develop a capable supply base for category requirements. Consolidate local supplier base and develop where relevant alternative sources ensuring uninterrupted supply of goods or services, delivered in a cost effective and quality manner.
Conduct periodic market research for assigned categories to include monitoring of market trends and supply/demand factors, technology advancements, legal dictates and communications to help in the decision making process to meet the strategic goals of the organization.
Establish regular communications with the key internal business partners, to ensure agreement and adoption of category strategies, on-going review of activities undertaken and maintenance of strong client service.
You Offer...
Minimum five (5) years experience in sourcing or procurement.
Understanding of how to analyze a category cost structure.
Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
Experience or good understanding of electronic sourcing tools.
Experience working within compliance and regulatory culture, driving policies and procedures, both internally and externally.
Risk and control culture and an understanding of Supplier Screening programs with the ability to evaluate and mitigate any associated potential business risk to CS.
Very good analytical skills, including the ability to understand demand patterns and demand strategies.
Very good presentation skills, including experience using Excel pivot tables and PowerPoint to support analytical techniques and presentation of data.
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
Collaborative style, including experience navigating through matrix organizational responsibilities, organizational change, and working across regions and teams.
Skilled in building relationships: confident, firm, empowering and positive attitude.
Proactive, hands-on approach with capability to manage an increasing book of work over time and desire to personally accomplish goals and to help the company grow and prosper.
Fluency in English required.
