Requirements:
Professional qualification with at least 3 years of experience at managerial level within Finance / Accounting in an International / Multi-national company, preferably with a US parent
Demonstrated track record of successfully driving change and managing financial functions in a diverse global organization
Regulatory knowledge and awareness to ensure that the company is meeting reporting and remitting requirements
Excellent fiscal management skills to ensure that financial controls are in place and properly functioning; experience in identifying and mitigating operational risk through effective controls
Problem solver with strong project management skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, relationship and consensus building skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization; effectively gains agreement and consensus for ideas
Able to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
Robust strategic and "hands on" leadership skills with demonstrated success of leading cross-functional teams in multiple locations with initiating change
Knowledge of process management; experience in process re-engineering methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma is a plus
Demonstrated ability to navigate and balance global process standards with local/regional implementation
Approaches responsibility with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to excellence
Experienced in ERP systems (Oracle strongly preferred) both use and implementation; advanced skills with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access
Experienced with Global and/or Regional Shared Services or Outsourcing Centre environment, people and change management
Very fluent command of both oral and written English, other languages advantageous
Superior customer service ethics and commitment
Strong management and mentoring skills
Able to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment
Ability to roll up ones sleeves and own the responsibilities assigned from the ground up; jumping in to facilitate work getting done in the group as needed

Good understanding of US GAAP
Responsibilities:
This role will own EMEA-based service delivery, operational performance management (metrics, process ownership, continuous improvement), team management (selection, management, and development) compliance (tax law and required actions relating thereto, Sarbanes-Oxley, etc.), and implementation of key EMEA-based initiatives (business case, requirements, program management, and resource planning) relating to crucial financial transactions
Primary daily responsibilities center on working closely with the EMEA Regional Accounting team, Compensation Accounting Finance personnel (both in the region and at Corporate), and the Director, Accounting (in the US)
This role is responsible for actively collaborating with the pertinent internal teams (Tax, Financial Services, etc.) to ensure all necessary EMEA compliance (regulatory reporting and remittance) requirements are appropriately addressed for Distributors-related transactions
Foster strategic partnerships with the EMEA Regional Financial Services teams as well as local offices to ensure that there is a seamless world-class approach to company interactions with external partners regarding their financial transactions
All supervisory responsibilities relating to the above functions, including leading a team of 1 direct report, with 5 indirect reports, in Krakow, Poland
Interacts with EMEA Regional Finance, EMEA FOSC Staff, Financial Services specific for the company, Internal Audit, External Audit, Financial Institutions, Tax Advisors, and US-based Corporate Finance, Tax and Treasury departments
