Job Description:
Purpose of Role:
First point of contact for managers and employees to provide advice and support on all employee relations issues. The role helps to ensure a fair and consistent approach to the organizations policies and procedures, thus promoting a positive ER culture within the business, whilst minimizing risk and taking care of reputation for the business.
Responsibilities:
Act as the lead Employee Relations Consultant for Poland; heading up the ER team
Execute employee relations policies, procedures and guidelines, including discipline, grievances and complaints
Provide advice and support to all parts of the business on employee relations matters to ensure their effective management;
Identify, research and resolve employee relations issues in partnership with the HRBP, ER Consultant colleague, Managers and Employees;
Using own expertise and experience in the HR field, advise Managers and Employees on ER matters to ensure their consistent approach;
Support the GHR team and Legal in conducting employee relations investigations;
Execute & implement ER programs and initiatives under the direction of ER and GHR Management;
Respond effectively to employee relations queries escalated from HR Shared Service Centre or received direct to the ER COE;
Collaborate with corporate functions (Global Security / Compliance/Finance/ Health & Safety) to ensure adherence to corporate guidelines and consistent practices in the resolution of related employee relations issues;
Ensure adherence to Employee Relations corporate guidelines and consistent practices;
Develop employee relations tools, templates and procedures;
Design and deliver training on a regular basis to new employees and managers
Analyze local performance of employee relations programs and initiatives and recommend appropriate updates;
Analyze employee relations data, identify trends and recommend solutions;
Support the GHR Compliance, Risk, Audit and Privacy initiatives;
Support the design of employee relations products and services such as policy, procedures & guidelines;
Keep up to date with current local laws and regulations and ensure that this knowledge is cascaded to whole GHR Poland team and GHR policies and procedures are updated in accordance with legal regulations, in Polish and English as appropriate.
Maintain the ER Case Management System and ensure that all cases are recorded and tracked to closure.
Qualifications:
Requirements
Degree qualification ideally in Employment Law and or other relevant disciplines.
Solid general working knowledge of employee relations and country/ local laws and regulations
Direct experience of Mergers and Acquisitions(M&A), restructuring and workforce reduction
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proven experience in conflict resolution
Effective English and Polish communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong sense of teamwork
Proven ability to collaborate effectively
Proven ability to work independently and be totally self sufficient
Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships across matrixed organisations and virtual teams
Proven Management Skills
Strong IT skills including a good working knowledge of Peoplesoft and Microsoft Office tools

Solid experience gained in a combination of Employee Relations, Business Partner and/or potentially compensation and rewards type roles.
