You will be part of Accenture Analytics as a Service Core team leading the team that identifies and develops advanced analytics statistical models/ machine learning methods and solutions for Accenture operations clients to improve various business outcome indicators. Objective of the team is to successfully develop, conceptualize and test Various Statistical models and also integrate the outcomes as a real time analytics to elevate the Accenture"s ability to create value for clients in areas and through means not immediately apparent to clients.
Data Scientist
Key responsibilities
Using appropriate statistical techniques to develop appropriate analytic solutions for informing customer acquisition and customer retention strategies
Developing appropriate methodology for analyzing and interpreting results from product features A/B testing
Working on multiple analytic projects such as user segmentations, user engagement to purchase funnel analysis, user life time value analysis
Providing data, insights and reporting support to various teams
Driving the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sources
Preparing data for statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms
Maintaining and advancing analytic database as well as conducting periodic data QA
Working with technical and non-technical customers to design experiments and communicating statistical results
Leading training and informational sessions on statistics
Qualifications
Minimum bachelor's degree from an university of repute, MBA degree would be an asset
4+ years of overall experience in the area of statistical modelling and machine learning
Deep knowledge of SAS. Other tools like SQL, R, S-plus, STATA, Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive and other data management tools will be an asset
Experience in any of the domains: Retail, Consumer Products marketing, Network, Supply Chain, F&A, Procurement, Life Science, eCommerce, Banking, Finance, Health Care, Human Resources, Digital marketing
A solid grounding in applied statistics including expertise in at least one of the following is a must: Reliability models, Markov Models, Stochastic models, Bayesian modeling, classification models, cluster analysis, neural network, non-parametric methods, time series analysis, forecasting and multivariate statistics
Extensive experience solving business problems using quantitative approaches
Experience in building and deploying business relevant analytics assets
Ability to deal with stress of competing priorities and diverging interests within the same immediate time frame
High energy level and be able to effectively work with various cross functional teams
Good verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work in a team environment
Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken) and good level of the other foreign
