Responsibilities:

Supporting and working for the project through all project phases
Solving problems and finding reliable technical solutions for the application
Creating ideas for new designs and for cost reduction projects
Designing test rigs for validation of the AMT products
Supporting lifecycle development of the product / product group
Creating new constructions of AMT system and perfecting the existing one
Creating and maintaining documentation, taking on technical and design responsibility
Cooperating with other processes (S&P, M&L, etc.)
Supporting Product Specification based on released documentation and validated tests
Initiating and following-up on patent analysis and identifying ideas for patents
Considering health, safety and environmental aspects in product design
Preparing and participating in design reviews

Requirements:

Graduated in engineering science, preferably in mechanical engineering or mechatronics
Minimum 4 years experience in design work
Profound experience in development with Pro Engineer (Creo)
Fluent communication skills in written and spoken English, German skills are a plus
Knowledge in and working experience with:

Pressure die Casting
Design of plastic parts
Layout and design of sealing
Pneumatic or hydraulic controls
Sensors, housings
Mechatronics for gearbox
