GL Accountant with German

GL Accountant with German 1-11-38208/GP For our Client, prestigious SSC company, we are looking for higly motivated GL Experts open for a new challenges!

Place of work: Warsaw

Responsibilities:

Working directly with local country controllers, line management and other SSC departments;
Performing month end tasks according to month and year end closing schedule;
Ensuring proper preparation and reconciliation of reports and accounts;
Fixed Assets accounting (maintain fixed assets records and follow-up certain accounts);
Reducing exceptions through root cause analysis and implementation of solutions;
Statutory reporting;
Executing reports and postings related to the General Accounting Activities;
Identifying and calculating provisions and exceptions to standard bookings
Implementing process improvement activities leaded by GL Manager or Continuous Improvement Manager;
Participation in KPI, CFCF (internal control) etc reporting and analysis;
Supporting other team members in daily tasks;
Other duties as assigned;

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

At least 1 year of professional experience within an GL Accounting area;
Relevant University Degree;
Strong accounting and tax knowledge und business understanding;
Able to use accounting expertise and judgment to flag and record exceptions or variances noted in the daily course of the accounting activities;
Advanced level of English;
German Language knowledge,
Strong analytical skills;
Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel;
Able to be self-driven and identify opportunities for improvements;
Dynamic, innovative & problem resolution focused personality;
Precision, attention to detail;
Being inquisitive, diligent and well-organized;
Enjoys working in a multi-cultural and challenging team environment;
