Currently for our client from fuel industry, we are looking for Senior Linux Engineer to work in Warsaw.

Job description:

Delivering cost effective solutions by consolidating applications.
Developing scripts to be used for support of Linux platform (systems automations, configuration management, and monitoring of platform)
Responding to emergency issues, provide root cause analysis and improve monitoring system to ensure the issues do not repeat
Ensuring systems/applications availability and performance

Providing technical assistance to Operation, Application Developers/Owners in resolving production incidents. Recommending necessary changes to currently implemented software/hardware tools.

Requirements:

University degree in IT or related
At least 4 years of experience in work as a Linux Engineer
Expert-level knowledge of the Linux operating systems.
Good understanding of protocols and platforms (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Apache, Weblogic).
Scripting experience (bash, Perl, awk, grep).
Experience in running various hypervisor platforms and docked applications (docker).
Server Hardware knowledge and experience.
Knowledge of emerging IT technology products, solutions, industry trends, and implementation methods.

Very good interpersonal and analytical skills
Fluency in English (spoken and written)
