Opis stanowiska:
Managerial Responsibilities:

Managing the work of the team responsible for general ledger accounting, organizing work, delegating, setting priorities, monitoring and managing workload within the team
Reporting of team performance to the General Ledger Manager
Team motivation, employee development and evaluation
Monitoring KPI and improving operational performance
Providing trainings to current and future team members
Providing service to external and internal customers /escalation point for matters related to the team
In case of an absence of GL Manager acting as an number one in SSC GL team

Accounting Responsibilities:

Act as a GL process Subject Matter Expert
Perform close procedures on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
Close cooperation with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams
Perform financial statement reviews, analyze variances and initiate corrective actions
Monitor and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial information is presented at period-end
Prepare monthly reports and records by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information for business unit purposes
Provide audit support
Continuously identify, develop and implement process improvements and internal controls

Wymagania:

Expertise in accounting processes and internal controls
Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting principles
Proven experience in managing a team
University degree with a major in finance, business or accounting or accounting professional qualifications,
6+ years of professional experience within accounting area
Former experience as an Accounting Supervisor/Chief Accountant would be a plus
Ability to plan, assign and direct work
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to address employee needs and resolve problems
Experience in using Oracle General Ledger would be a plus
Proficiency in English
