We are looking for an exceptional candidate based in our Krakow office to fulfill the role as:
Test Automation Engineer

Requirements:
Bachelor or Master degree in computer science
Full-time working experience in Software Engineering at least 2 years
Track record in applying test-automation for java based applications
Writing and understanding SQL-queries
Experience within an agile environment (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
Strong customer-orientation with positive & result-driven attitude
Fluent in English, German not required (but would be a plus)
Ideally background in e-commerce industry

Responsibilities:
Drive all test-related topics from within the DevOps product team for a defined set of e-commerce applications
Continuously optimize the test-coverage on different levels
Ensure continuous and successful execution of automated test-cases - follow-up on failing tests
Leverage external testing service providers (i.e. crowd testing and third party)
Design test scenarios for all test levels and types (i.e. automated, regression, exploratory)
Implement automated tests
In a Java-based environment using frameworks like e.g. Cucumber
Strongly considering also the data-layer
Re-factor existing tests as needed
Structured and transparent defect management: from identification till accepted solving & releasing
Promote & train a test-driven culture and quality-focused mind-set
