Role Title: Treasury Accountant
Purpose of the role Under direction of the Treasury Reporting Manager - Provide accounting services to Treasury - Provide expertise on portfolio structure for hedging operations and regulatory authority relationship management. Prepare the reporting requirements for Group Treasury including:

Statutory and management reporting;
Hedge sensitivity and performance analysis and reports;
Compliance reports (credit / market risk);
Disclosure notes;
Forecasted and actual financial ratios;
Group consolidated accounts and input to budget plans;
Ensure all financing structure, instruments and derivatives are correctly accounted for
Provide technical accounting expertise to treasury team on transactions
Ensure hedging documentation and accounting treatment for hedging transactions are in accordance with required accounting standards
Provide technical support and advice to assist Group Accounting
Responsible for accurate and timely accounting of all treasury transactions ensuring compliance with required accounting standards
Provide accurate and timely submissions for tax and external audit requirements

Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience Qualifications

Education to degree level. ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification desirable;

Skills

Sound analytical and financial reporting skills;
Ability to deliver own projects on time and work well with others on wider projects
Operates with a high degree of independence and autonomy: demonstrated by strong planning, organizational, time management and training skills
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to liaise with senior management on a regular basis regarding complex issues.
Working knowledge of the languages of the countries of our operating companies is an asset.
Working knowledge of Spanish is particularly important and preferable

Experience

2-3 years relevant experience in a multinational company
Strong knowledge of current treasury related accounting standards, ideally gained in a complex multinational environment
