On behalf of our Client we are currently looking for experienced Country Chief Accountant, willing to join the team in Jelenia Gora.

As a Country Chief Accountant Poland you will be responsible for leading the country accounting department for few entities of the company, especially: month- end, quarter- end and year- end closing according the deadlines if of the group, accounting tasks in accordance with local roles and IFRS, preparing statutory tax declarations, returns and statements. Working on this position you will manage the team of Chief Accountants/ Accountants. One of the challenges in this job will be the unification of the accounting system with IT department support as well as organize a structure toward a process oriented organization.

Ideal candidate on this position should have minimum 7 years experience in accounting (thus 5 in industrial field), strong knowledge of finance including: mechanics of financial statement preparation, preparing accounts following IFRS, experience in the use and application development of an accounting system (Oracle is a plus) as well as master degree in accounting or economics. Fluent English is a must. We are looking for results driven, team player and autonomous candidates with strong ability to work effectively in multi- cultural organization.
